Josh Dubois: Hi! I am Josh Dubois. Today, we are making vodka drinks, and right now I am going to show you how to make a Crantini. Now, this drink again, its a Martini and its served in a Martini glass, you want to chill your Martini glass. Do that while you are making your drink. Next, you are going to take your mixing glass, and fill it with ice. The main ingredient in this drink is vodka, but you are going to be using a lot of other ingredients as well. But first, we will put the main ingredient of vodka. We are going to put one shot or two ounces and thats going to be a four count, one, two, three, four. You are then going to use cranberry and triple sec, and you are going to wait off on the vermouth till the end. So, now you are going to put triple sec in, and you are only going to put one ounce and so, one, two. Then, you are going to put one ounce of cranberry juice. Its easier to estimate the cranberry juice coming out of a bartending gun. So, this way I measure it. So, just a little bit, there we go. Thats one ounce. So, now you are going to tap, and shake, get it nicely shaken up really, really well. Set that down for a second, you can pop it, to just get it to release the air, then you are going to dump out your ice, and now you are just going to take your vermouth and you can do this when you are making martinis, you can do this. This is a really good way to add vermouth to a drink. You dont want to ever add very much vermouth because its really, really strong, and kind of disgusting. So, you just put it in there, no particular amount, and swirl it around, so that it coats the glass, then dump it out. That stuff, its still on there thats coating the glass, its all of the vermouth that you are going to need. Next, you are going to strain, if you have shaken it really, really well, you get these nice little ice crystals on the top. Then that you can garnish with a lime, and thats how you make a Crantini. Next, I am going to show you how to make a Vodka Press.
