Mona Harb: My name is Mona. I am with Lofty Salon and I am showing you how to blow-dry your hair. We've washed her hair with body-building shampoo and we've conditioned it and now I am going to show you how to apply the gel.

I like to use products that I could mix. I use a gel that I mix with the conditioner, because I dont like it to be too stiff and sticky and then, what I am going to ask her to do, is to put her head upside down, because I am going to apply the gel to the roots and from the roots, work them out, to the hair shaft.

So, after we've applied the hair to the roots and we make sure that it is well saturated, then we are ready to do the styling. This is how you put your gel for fine hair on the roots and work them out to the hair shaft.

Okay, now I am going to start with the blow-drying, we put the blow-dryer on a low setting and you blow-dry the hair from the roots for volume. When the hair dryer is on a low setting it gives you more control of your hair. It doesnt blow the hair too strong and dries it too fast. This way, you have more control and you have to make sure that the hair is 80% dry, before you pick up the brush and start styling. This is the second step, to achieve a nice, cool hair style.
