Hi, I am Roger Bennett Riggle, I am a licensed professional makeup artist, and this is our model today, Vanessa Strickland. We are designing a fantasy face specifically for Halloween, and we have chosen the tiger design. We are putting the final touches on the tiger design. The last thing that I want to do is to lay in the whiskers on the tiger. There are two techniques of doing this. One is to just take your brush and mash it on to the face, and make little circles, like that. This is really enough to simulate the whiskers on a tiger. The other thing that you can do or you can do both is to take the tip of your brush and just pull quickly and pull the whiskers out of those spots. So, one or the other or both can be used in technique. The last thing that we will do is to put on the wig. Dont forget that the wig simulates the fur and the hair of an animal, and also covers up the human ears. This spiked wig, this is why I chose this, helps to simulate the fur and the ears on the top. Now, when youre putting on a wig, its always good to have your model take their two forefingers and put them up in front of their hairline, like antlers. So, Im going to ask Vanessa to do that. She is going to hook her fingers right into the front of the wig, and were going to lay it right on the edge of the hairline, you dont want it too far forward on your forehead. Then while she is holding that, I pull it down over the back, and I guess you saw that we did have her hair up in a ponytail, and if you dont want your hair to show at all, you can put in up in a bun. She can let go. Basically, I will take the wig, and I can spike it up like that if I want to. I have taken gel before and swirl it around my fingers and actually made the little ears in there, and you can take some hair spray. We will show you real quick, and you can just spray it really heavy. A little gel helps make it work as well, and we can actually form ears into the wig, so that indeed she has this characteristic of a cat, a lion, a tiger, a cougar, any one of the members of the cat family. I think a wig is a very important feature in a makeover, because it really does transition the person almost totally. There you have it. We have created and implemented a tiger for Halloween.
