Speaker: How can I stop my child from being bullied?

Dr. Ted Feinberg: If your child is being bullied, you want to let them know that you cant be of help to them unless they are forthcoming with the information you need to set the stage for some sort of intervention.

Now, bully may tell to your child that, If you tell anybody, I am going to find you and I am going to make it worse for you. Then the child has a dilemma as to what they should do, but increasingly we are helping to help children understand that bullying is an unacceptable behavior in any setting and increasingly schools are doing anti-bullying curriculum to help children identify what is a bullying situation and to identify the things that they can and should do to help reduce or eliminate that problem.
