Hello, I am Anne Wilterdink Morgan with Color and Image Insight, and Im showing you how to select your most flattering eyeglasses. Right now, Im discussing other style considerations for your glasses. Now, lifestyle is an important consideration, particularly if you play sports. Today, so many glasses are lighter, stronger, more flexible, than they once were, that many glasses can be worn for lots of sports, even if they are not specifically designed for that. These happen to be Terrys sunglasses, which she wears to play tennis. They are so lightweight, so flexible, that they dont move on her face at all, and she never needs to worry about them getting in her way or falling off. But, they do make glasses for all kinds of sports specifically.

Even goggles for swimming or possibly even a scuba helmet they has prescription lens on it. Theyre out there, so if you need them for your particular sport, its important to get the right thing. Career is another consideration. If youre in a conservative field, then you want to have a little bit more of a conservative style than if you are in a more creative or fashion oriented, in which case you can get a little edgier with your glasses.

You can also use glasses to combat age discrimination, by going a little bit more hip if you are older than you think might be considered ideal in your field, or to give yourself an air of greater maturity if youre younger. You want to consider your build when youre choosing your glasses. A heavier or bolder frame is going to be better for somebody with larger features, or a larger build. If you are more petite or delicately featured, then you want to go with some thing thats a little bit more dainty and small in its appearance.

One thing you may want to know is how much you should pay attention to the trends that are happening in glasses fashion, as they happen in all kinds of fashion. Right now were seeing lots and lots of angular frames, particularly rectangular frames, but if they are not the best for you, its still more important to choose what works with your coloring, with your features, with the shape of your face. You also want to consider how long you keep your glasses typically. You dont want to go too trendy if you tend to keep them for years.

I have pictures of my husband since we first met, and you can see that he has changed quite a bit in his hair and his clothing, but sure enough, he has the same basic frame style in all these pictures, because it hasnt really gone out of style, and it works for him. Not every red is a bad rut. So, one last thing that you want to think about in terms of your personal style, do you consider yourself more classic, more feminine, more sporty, more dramatic, think about the kinds of clothing that you choose, and go in the same direction with your glasses to capture your personality.
