Linda Stahl: Hi! I'm Linda Stahl from Hershey's Kitchens. Today I'm going to be showing you how to make decorated peanut butter Easter eggs. The first thing you'll do is to make royal icing.

To do that we're going to take two quarter cups of powered sugar, two tablespoons of warm water, and a tablespoon of dried egg whites or meringue powder. We're going to mix this together and then we're going to be adding a tablespoon of water at a time to get the consistency that we would like to have. Once you have the consistency that you want, if you would like, you can color it different colors.

I'm going to make this one yellow, just add a few drops of liquid food coloring. You want to mix this until it's well blended and has a uniform color. Now I just did yellow today. Just as an example to show you what you can do, but you can make any color you want, and I already have over here, some green, blue, pink, yellow and of course white.

Today, I'm going to be putting names on these eggs but you can do anything you want to. In fact, these particular eggs have some lines on here that you might want to follow, to make decorations but I am going to stick with the names for today. So the first name I'm going to put on there is Emma and when you are doing these, remember, if you don't get it the way you want it, give it a little bit of time and when it dries you can take it off and reprint that part.

So I'm going to put on first and then come back and do some other decorating on here. On this one I am going to write the name Julia, and you don't have to be perfect. So for Julia, I'm going to make it really easy. I'm going to dot my "i" and then put a nice pink sugar heart on top of that. So there's Julia, and now I'm going to go back to Emma and see if I can add some flowers. There's my flower stem and a leaf, I'm going to have one blue flower, you'll have open petals for this. I'm going to have a pink flower and now I'm going to put the little yellow dot in the center, in the center of your flower.

There we have the little dots for the flowers and I think I'm going to add, some more things today. I'm going to put little dots of frosting on there and then decorate these little candy circles, just a few.

So there you have it, a decorated Reese's peanut butter Easter egg. A great treat for Easter and it's been personalized, so it's something really special. Enjoy.
