Hi, I am Anna Zeccolo with Tiny Chefs. Today, we are making Fun Desserts for Kids. We are going to make Thumbprint Surprise Cookies. You only need a few ingredients to make these cookies.

You can start by purchasing store brought sugar cookie mix, about half a cup of sugar, and half a cup of jelly. You also need a baking sheet and a spoon. You begin by rolling your cookies into about a two inch ball, and then rolling them into sugar. Once you get the cookie coated in sugar, you are then going to make a well in the middle of the cookie, just like this. Then you are going to fill the center with your choice of jelly. Today, we are using grape. Then put it right there on the pan. Whats important when you are making these cookies is to really make the well nice and deep, so that the jelly or jam has a place to sit, it wont ooze out. It's also equally important to place the cookies about two inches apart so, that when the cookies spread, they dont bump into one another. When making Thumbprint Surprise Cookies, you want to make sure and place them in a 350 degree oven for about 15 minutes. Finish this one up. Thats how we make Thumbprint Surprise Cookies. Have fun.
