Marsha Wood: Hi! I am Marsha Wood with Aunt Bea s Caramel Apple Slices. I am going to show you now how to prepare and serve your apple. You first take your apple and place it on the cutting board. You take your slicer and you center it over the core and you have to rock it back and forth to get it in and then push straight down.

You have to use a little bit of force and then remove your core and then take the apple slices and gently break it apart to place it right in your bowl so it will fold out and have slices that almost look like a flower into your bowl and sometimes they work a little bit easier than others, because you want it to display to look very pretty. And so once you have it placed in your bowl, you then put hot caramel on top of it and you want to start at the top, so it drizzles down and drips all the way down and covers all of the apple slices.

You want to make sure that all of them are covered, and this is where it s very important that your caramel is the right consistency because if it s too thick they just sit up the top. If it s too thin it drips all way down to bottom of the bowl. So, you just want the right consistency to cover the slices and then if you want to have chopped peanuts, that s where which I prefer doing that; I put a few peanuts on a cutting board, you use your chopper and you just chop it for few minutes to get it the right size that you prefer, and then all you do is, you sprinkle it on top. Some people like to top it with cream and now u can enjoy.
