Hi, my name is Cheryl Cullina and I'm a cardio kickbox instructor. I actually teach several formats in different classes. Cardio kickbox is one of my favorites. Today I would like to present to you some basic techniques for cardio kickboxing. So, whether you're a beginner, just starting out with your exercise program, or you're a fully engaged in a program, but would like a little variety, give kickboxing a try, I think you will find it fun, not only for you, but for your entire family. You can get the kids involved with this. You can pick up a pair of boxing gloves for them to wear, ten bucks or so at a local sport store, make them feel tough, just make sure they dont hit their brothers or sisters. Lets talk about a couple of safety issues. Its important to wear either loose fitting clothing or something that stretches. Good pair of tennis shoes and a good solid floor to work on. If you have long hair, pull it back away from your eyes so that you're able to see at all times. Another safety feature, please be sure to see a doctor and get clearance before starting any exercise program. Now, lets move on to basic cardio kickbox techniques.
