Pathy Massidy: Hello, my name is Pathy Anne Massidy(ph). I am an educator with the Alexandria Fire Department, in Alexandria, Virginia. We are a historic department founded in 1773. Today, we have more than 300 employees and a volunteer department. Together, our mission is to serve the citizens, businesses, and visitors to our city. We are going to talk to you today about basic fire safety. We will cover everything from what do if your clothes catch on fire, or stop, drop, and roll. How to plan and practice your home escape plan, to learning how to operate a fire extinguisher?
