Amy Bevin: Hi! I am Amy Bevins, professionally, I wear many different hats, I am editor for Family magazine, a writer, an educator, and I am also a mom. In our house, Halloween is a great time for spooky fun. Today, I am going to show you how to make four tasty creepy Halloween treats. We are going to be making Witch s Fingers, Eyeball Bites, Bloody Worms, and Crunchy Spiders. Each of these recipes has simple ingredients and it is easy to prepare in just a few minutes. One of the best things is that you can either serve them individually as appetizers or snacks or you can pull them together for a complete meal for those hungry ghouls and goblins.

What you are going want to do before we get started is pull together a few basic kitchen tools, you are going to want a mixing bowl and spoon, a saucepan, vegetable peeler, can opener, sharp knives and a cutting board, a baking sheet, measuring cups, and measuring spoons. We will go over the specific ingredients for each recipe when we get to it. Since I am mom, kitchen safety is very important to me. Please when you are working on each recipes, be careful around hot stoves and sharp knives and teach your kids the importance of kitchen safety. All of the kids around here know that one of our house rules is no trips to the emergency room; you don t want anybody injured when you are making your Halloween creations. So, now that we have covered the basics, let s get down to making our spooky yummy Halloween treats.
