Kim Jerro: Hi! This is Kim Jerro again. I am going to teach you how to make a real simple craft. It is a sun hand plate and this one really goes over well with my younger nieces and nephews. Got a bunch of hands attached to a plate. So it is real simple, All you need is a paper plate, bunch of construction paper, pair of scissors, a pencil, and some markers.

First thing you are going to do is just trace her hand or have the youngster trace her hand or you can help them trace it. So, I am going to trace my hand and if I want to I cut them out individually or I can simply stack several pieces of paper together so that I have multiple hands. I want to end up with six to nine different hands and then I am going to attach them to the back of my plate. This is my front of my plate and this is the back of my plate. And the easiest thing to do is just tape them. So I am going to tape my hands to back flip it over and really decorate it anyway you want; color yellow; color it red; don t color at all, put a smilie face. So you end up with some things that look like this. And that is the sun hand plate.
