Host: How can my family help with expenses?
Christiana Taylor: If your family members too are offering to do something for you I have had a lot of bride and grooms these days actually where they are paying for their wedding themselves. We have gotten a little bit away from -- I still see a lot of bride families paying for weddings however. I do get a lot of couples that are paying for their own weddings. So if you have family members like parents or the groom's parents, the bride's parents or even aunts, uncles that are interested in helping you pay for something at the wedding, a big thing that I would recommend is to ask them to put that money towards honeymoon or help them to plan honeymoon. I had a bride who actually was having her parents pay for the wedding but the groom family really wanted to do something over the top and nice for them and they planned a beautiful honeymoon for them in Cabo San Lucas Mexico and the nice part about that is that they didnt have to have the burden of planning that and it was a nice surprise for them after a very long day of planning a wedding and all the stress that comes before planning the wedding and it was something nice that they could get away and they were completely surprised when they got there and how wonderful the groom's family have put together their honeymoon for them.
