Host: Who should I select a photographer?

Christina Taylor: I think that's a very important. A lot of times people will tell me that they have hired someone and they will come to a meeting with us and they will be probably the wrong person for them and the reason I say that is that they are not prepared, they do not have the right setting in mind for what the bride and groom are looking for. So finding and interviewing a photographer and videographer is important to know what the end result is going to be.

I also had a lot of bride and grooms to wait for months and months after the wedding to receive anything from the photographers and so asking about the time frame is important as well. Making sure what's included in their contract is really important. Do they come to your suite before the wedding and then they take pictures there while the bride is getting dressed, the groom is getting ready. They come to the facility, they stay for the reception. What is really included? Do they come to the rehearsal dinner? There are a lot of things that are important that you want to have memories of, but you might be able to supplement that depending on what the kind of amount you are trying to spent with the photographer by having some other friends and family take pictures at the others occasions that surround the wedding.
