Host: How should I seat my guest at the reception?
Christina Taylor: Seating people together at a wedding who know each other is always the best way to go. A lot of times people will think well they can put different people at different tables and you can do that definitely depending on the guests that your inviting but usually what I recommend is if you are going to have a seated meal, where everyone is going to be at round tables then you would definitely put like families together. So you would have bride's family at one table, the groom's family at the other table. Similar friends at other tables and then let people mix and mingle throughout the night. It's usually not the best -- some people are very open to meeting the people and some people aren't, so it is the safest way to put them with people that they know.
