Hi, I am Franklin Taggart. We have been talking about setting up a Home Recording Studio. We have got to the point now, where we have opened our sequencer program and we are going to start to play a little bit of music. I have loaded up a drum loop in our sequencer and drum loops are a good way to find beats that are well played, very interesting and very easy to use. So, I have loaded up the drum loop into the sequencer program. I am just going to use that to trigger and this will be what it sounds like. So, that is the drum loop that we are going to be using. I have also loaded up a free synthesizer. There are software synthesizers now available online from a variety of sources. Some of them are free and they are excellent synthesizers that you can use with a keyboard or you can also use it like a guitar MIDI Converter. You can use one of the Breath Controlled MIDI Converters that are used to play like a wind instrumentto trigger the sounds in the synthesizers that are stored on your computer. Software synthesizers are of every variety. This is just a really good standard synthesizer; it has some kind of traditional synthesizer sounds. What I am going to use this one for particularly is to do a baseline. See, what I can do now with my drum loop at the same time. I am going ahead and record that part. This is the part that I just recorded and I am going to go ahead and close that. So, I have got a basic rhythm track I already started and I can just keep adding patterns and adding patterns and till I have got enough to make up an entire song and then I can add vocals, I can add other instruments like guitars. Whatever particular instrument I want to have, I can have right here on my computer. So, we are all ready to go with recording just as easy as that. The next thing we need to talk about is using a microphone to record a vocal.
