The main material you are going to need is a little bit of hand-lotion. I recommend a mild, fragrance-free, good quality hand-lotion as far as safety goes. Safety is important and you are going to really get the safest thing by going to a nice, clean tattoo shop that has a good reputation. Do your research, the internet is a valuable resource to finding out who is good in your area and just remember that good tattoos are not going to be cheap and cheap tattoos probably are not going to be good.
