Tattoo artist Chad Koeplinger demonstrates how to care for tattoos and piercings.
Transcripts
Chad Koeplinger: Hello, my name is Chad Koeplinger. I am a tattoo artist here in Washington D.C. at Tattoo Paradise. I have been tattooing for about 10 years in about 20 different countries all over the world. We are here today to talk to you about tattoo and piercing after care.
The main materials you are going to need is a tattoo, done in a nice, clean, well-reputable tattoo shop, somewhere in around the world wherever you are at. The main material you are going to need is a little bit of hand-lotion. I recommend a mild, fragrance-free, good quality hand-lotion as far as safety goes. Safety is important and you are going to really get the safest thing by going to a nice, clean tattoo shop that has a good reputation. Do your research, the internet is a valuable resource to finding out who is good in your area and just remember that good tattoos are not going to be cheap and cheap tattoos probably are not going to be good.
Anyway, let's get started.
