Brandon Walsh: Hi, I am Brandon Walsh, President of Hosted Wine Tasting. Today, I am going to expose you to the wonderful world of wine. At the end of today s video, you ll have learned different techniques for opening the bottle of wine, proper etiquette for ordering wine in a restaurant, how to taste and describe wine just like a professional, and finally how to pair food and wine. The materials you ll need to get started are a bottle of wine, a wine opener, a wine glass, a wine tasting scorecard, and a pencil. If you do not have one that s okay, you can go ahead and use a scrap sheet of paper.

For safety purposes, if you are a pregnant, please do not consume wine, and also wine may impair your ability to operate a motor vehicle or heavy machinery. Wine has been a passion of mine for many years. I have studied wine at the Wine Spectator School as well as the Culinary Institute in Napa Valley. I currently own and operate Hosted Wine Tasting, which provides wine tasting services in people s homes, at corporate events, wedding receptions, or any location for that matter. We also offer in-home wine training and food catering services. Once you have all your materials, let s go ahead and get started.
