Rosemary Spoljarick: Hi! I am Rosemary Spoljarick, and today we are making some Caramel Popcorn. First thing you want to remember to do is to make sure that you get your oven preset at 250 degrees. In order to make sure that we get our popcorn done and minimize our clean ups, we want to take a roasting pan and spray it with some nonstick cooking spray. Make sure you get it coated pretty good because the clean up could be pretty messy. And we will take our two bags of popcorns, just dump it into the roasting pan, okay and we will take pecans, pour them over top. And we are prepared now to start making our mixture to coat the popcorn. So what we will do first of all is we will take a half cup of the Kayro, the corn syrup, obviously we are a little warm here. We will get the Kayro and get our corn syrup and we are going to add two sticks of butter and this is really a pretty quick and simple recipe. We want to get the butter to melt as well as adding in our two cups of light brown sugar. We want to get this mixture going so that the ingredients are well mixed together and bring it to a boil. So, we will get this mixed and while that s starting to melt with bringing the butter to a melting state, we are going to take our cream of tartar and we will just take a pinch of cream of tartar and just add it to the mixture. Okay so, we are just going to wait for a little while, until this mixture comes to a boil and when we come back, make sure that we get this mixture all blended well and pour it over popcorn.
