Gloria MacDonald: There are different ways that men show that they are attracted to a woman and women show that they are attracted to a man. Men are very much about what they do. So you really have to look at what a man does rather than what he says. So for example, if a man says he is going to call you, it doesnt necessarily mean he is going to call you after that date.

If he does call you, thats a great sign but you can't judge that a man is going to do what he says he is going to do. Men just are not as verbal as women are. So, men communicate through their actions and you can judge a man through his actions.

Women communicate through their words more than by their actions. So, if you are looking to see if a man truly is interested in you, if he is attracted to you, what does he do? Does he say, does he actually ask you out a second time, does he get your phone number from you; does he pay for the date? There are things that a man will do rather than things that a man will say to show that he is interested in you.

For a woman, women are more verbal. So, they might say flirtatious things. They are also going to use body language but again, its hard to tell. Sometimes, you feel chemistry and you know that thats going on and sometimes, it certainly seems like it is very mutual. You can have someone who is a natural flirt and they will flirt with everyone whether they are interested in them or not.

Then you can have somebody who just doesnt know how to flirt. They find it grueling and they could be very interested in you but its very difficult for them to show that. So, there is no cut and dry, clear and easy way to know a 100% for sure if that other person is or isnt attracted to you.

Unfortunately, this whole dating game is a situation where you have to be willing to stick your neck out on the line a bit, you have to be willing to take some risks and you have to be willing to risk the possibility of rejection.
