Host: What is the first flirting exercise?

Gloria MacDonald: So if you feel that you are not good at flirting, you need to practice flirting and there are lots of different ways you can practice flirting and remember, this is something that should be fun, it should be light, it should be playful and flirting is not serious intent, it is not asking for a proposal of marriage. It is about letting the other person know that you think they are interesting, that you value them as a human being, that you think they have some level of expertise or knowledge that you respect them for. So one of the first exercises you can do to practice flirting is sit down right now and make a list of ten people that you can practice flirting with. So for example, a parking garage attendant, maybe a concierge in your apartment and condominium building or your office building, a waiter. They are people that you might see on a regular basis or maybe they are somebody that you have never seen before, maybe someone who works in a store. So write down a list of all the different people, at least ten people that you can practice flirting and remember, this is not serious intent. This is about making that person feel good about themselves. So take two seconds right now or ten seconds and write down that list of at least ten people you can practice flirting with.
