Gloria MacDonald: So now that you are out there having fun with total strangers flirting, the question is, how do you transfer this into the dating scene?

Well, if you make this truly just a natural part of your everyday communication with strangers, then realize, when you are out there dating, again, it is all about having fun, being light-hearted and making the other person feel good about themselves. If you take the attention off yourself and feeling awkward and uncomfortable yourself and you realize that you genuinely want that other person to feel comfortable, you want the other person to feel good about themselves, then it is a natural thing to do and it is no longer, Oh gosh! I wonder if this person likes me or doesn't like me. I wonder what kind of an impression I am giving.

You are thinking about making the other person feel good about themselves and it is so much easier to think about someone else and making them feel comfortable and if you have made this a habit now and you have practiced this, then it will flow naturally into that dating thing. Remember, it is not a proposal of marriage. So this can be fun and light-hearted and even if this person isn't the man or woman of your dreams, that's okay. You have had a positive experience, you have made them feel good about themselves and when they feel good about themselves, that's going to reflect back to you and the whole dating experience will be much more fun, much more enjoyable and much more light-hearted.
