Gloria MacDonald: The fourth sin is the sin of bad table manners. If a man doesn t know how to hold a knife and fork, doesn t know how to eat with his mouth closed, chew with his mouth close, you can't take him home for Thanksgiving dinner, so forget it. Guys, I know this might seem like a little thing, but again its all about how much you want success in this whole dating process and for an often lot of women, this is really important. Now, from sitting around at a family dinner with teenage boys, you would probably never know that most guys have a clue that your napkin goes on your lap, the bread and butter plate goes to the left and you are supposed to break your bread into pieces and butter it.

Little things like that but trust me; it goes a long, long way, again to showing a woman that you are the caliber of person that she might want to spend the rest of her life with or that she might maybe even not want to spend the rest of her life with but have a good relationship with.

So, manners can be taught and maybe there are things that you know, maybe you really do know how to hold the knife and fork, but you don t do it on a regular basis, start practicing because you will be surprised how much you just kind of kick back into old habits, not even thinking about it. Table manners are important.
