Host: How long do I have to be prince charming?
Gloria MacDonald: The good news for you guys is you don t have to be perfect and be prince charming forever and ever and ever. This is really all about those first two, three, four, five times you are getting together, those first dates. Once -- you know after the fifth or sixth date, you are really working into a relationship now and you can really start to relax, you don t have to be absolutely perfect all the time and it when you are in a relationship, that s when all those various love drugs start kicking in, all those natural pheromones and things that we have and so both of you were madly in love with one another and you don t see the other person s faults.
But until you get to that point where you really have a relationship going on and you are seeing each other on a constant steady basis, you really need to kind of keep up these things, be that gentleman, open the door, order the right bottle of wine, make sure the car is clean, after that it will happen naturally. So, take heart, yes, you might have to work a little extra hard to get her attention initially, but you don t have to be perfect forever and ever and ever.
