How do you know if you have found the right person?

The big question for so many of us is how do you know if you found the right person? How do you know if you found Mr. or Miss Right? Lots of people feel like, Well, is it, it s just gut reaction, is it gut reaction or is there a list of pros and cons that I am supposed to weigh? Lots and lots of us have been in situations where we thought we found Mr. or Miss Right, but clearly that wasn t the right person because here we are single again. So, just how do you know?

Now, lots of people say, Well, I just know in the first 30 to 60 seconds when I meet someone if this is the right person. Well, I think that's a bit tough. Yes, lots of us, we have gut reactions, we all do, we can't stop that, it is human nature, it s going to happen. But for us to make a decision that affects the rest of our lives, based on 30 to 60 seconds of information, well, frankly you are doing yourself a disservice if you are saying, I just know within the first 30 to 60 seconds, because you get an impression but that impression isn t always the right impression, especially because when you meet someone for the first time, especially if you are, if this is a setup, if it is, you are meeting through friends for the first time, if it s a blind date, both people are anxious, they are nervous, they are excited, they are not 100% themselves. So, you really need to give it a chance. This is not just about that instant gut reaction, nor is it strictly about analyzing everything in a list of pros and cons. It really is a question of a combination of both.
