Can someone really grow on you?
People really can grow on you. We have just had so many situations where we have made an introduction in our dating service and either the man or the woman wasn t instantly attracted to the other person but the other person was. So, the one partner didn t have that zing. It just wasn t happening for them and maybe I have spoken to let s say, the woman didn t have the zing for the man in this case and spoken to the woman and I have talked to her into meeting the man. In fact, this happened with my very first couple that got married.
I introduced them and the man liked her right away and she just really wasn t sure. There wasn t that instant sparking chemistry but I talked to her into going out with him a second time. Both people were incredibly nervous and anxious for that first meeting, so they weren t a 100% themselves. What happened was, when they went out a second time, she saw another side of him. She was more comfortable, he was more comfortable and she thought, Oh! This is a great guy. He is kind of interesting. So, they went out a third time and a fourth time and the zing grew and believe it or not, seven weeks after they first met, they got engaged. About nine months after they met, they got married and here they are two or three years later with two great kids and incredibly happy. So, don t believe for a second that zing can't grow. It can and in fact, that instant zing and sparking chemistry can fizzle just as quickly as it happened.
