Host: Are the college open houses worth the time and effort?
Jerome Cole: I think the open houses if you can attend, I think they are very valuable. What you are going to get is, one you get the see the campus again. Two, you get to meet students; three they have folks are hosting these things, so they are going to be there, you get an opportunity to sit and speak with them.
You are conveying interest again that s important, remember. They want you to apply once you are admitted, they want you to enroll. So, anytime you get the opportunity to say to a school, I am really interested in you, I like your school, I want to come to your school, you want to do that. So, if you have the opportunity, if you have the time, if you have the resources to go and sit in on an open house, you should always do that.
