Host: What are some things I should look for when choosing a digital camera?

Jenny Berman: Some of the basic things that you really want to look for when you buying a digital camera would be megapixel, lens size and zoom. When you are talking about point-and-shoot cameras, the digital zoom should have no affect of what you re purchasing. You want to make sure it s all optical zoom, 3X, 4X, 5X, make sure its optical not digital. A digital zoom is just essentially cropping the pictures and that s not what you want it all. It will definitely make your pictures blurry. Now, as far as an SLR camera goes with lenses, the more money you spend, the better it is, the bigger the glass, the sharper the pictures. The bigger the glass from more light and the light is photography and without it we wouldn t have a picture.
