Host: Can a student with a C average or lower be admitted to a college or a university?

Jerome Cole: There are well over 3000 colleges and universities out there; some have what they call open-enrollment, they are two year institutions that have open enrollment. So, there are lots of schools out there for students who have C average and even lower. I would just say to that student to look at the school, go to your website first talk to your college counselor, he or she should be able to help you identify those schools that are interested in C average students, everyone is not an A or a B student, there are lots of C average students and what is really interesting to notice that, a lot of those students that are performing at the C level or lower in high school, often times go on to college and become really, really successful at that level and beyond. So, yes there are lots of options for those kids.
