Host: Do colleges waive the application fee for needy families?

Jerome Cole: If a family can demonstrate need which in most cases would be supported by the school, yes in most cases schools will waive that fees and you know for some of us, the fees may not be that much, but for a needy family, a $25 application fee, a $40 fee as much as $80 for some applications and you start to multiply that, it starts to add up and it can become a burden for families. So, if you are one of those Needy families, then you should inquire about getting a fee waiver.
