Besides writing a resume what is involved in career management?

Louise Kursmark: Well you need to think about where you are going and how you are going to get there. The resume is a tool to help you get there. So when you think about your on going life-long career management. It s defining who you are, learning and thinking about the skills that you are going to need to take you where you want to go. Managing your perception in the market, who, how do, what do, how do people think of you, what have they think about you, what have they think you are good at, is they were to go and google you what would they find out about, you was that kind of consistent before you said you are going to be.

So, it requires constant attention to your career and your profession and then in an actual job search you have to write a resume, you have to write a cover letters, you have to know how to network, you have to know how to manage your job search online and offline you have to interview well and you have to then be prepared once you get the new job, prepare for your next job.
