Having been a soccer coach for 15 yrs, I think these videos are great. They show the beginning player exactly what they need to become an above average player. Good Job

Glenn Alpert: Hi, my name is Glenn Alpert with Arlington Travel Soccer Club. Now, we are going to talk about using your first touch with the laces. There are two ways that we can do this. We can start by tossing the soccer ball up, we are going to point the toe down and we are going to move forward with the ball. So, I am going to toss it up and I am going to move forward. Okay, one more time, toss it up move forward, then we can control a soccer ball. The next one is where a player passes me the ball, so William pass me the ball, I am going to play my toe down and move forward with my laces. Once more, pass the soccer ball move forward with my laces.

Okay, let's have Adam do tossing up and forward with the laces go ahead, no to yourself. Once more Adam. Now, it is how he keeping his toe down and he is moving forward. Let's get William to do it and pass the ball to William and then he will move forward with his laces. Pass it back to Adam, so when you receive the pass point your toe and then move forward with your laces on your first touch, good. Okay once more, okay good. Okay make sure that we are moving forward, so we are getting weight from pressure.

Alright, next we are going to talk about first touch soccer training using the inside of the foot.
