Host: What is the difference between calories and calories from fat?

Tracee Yablon-Brenner: The calories listed show the amount of energy in one serving of food. Fat calories are different because there is 9 grams of fat per calorie. So, if there is 10 grams of fat, you multiply 10 x 9, which is 90 calories from fat.
