Tracee Yablon-Brenner: Foods high in protein can tend to make your lose weight quicker because you lose water weight but they also tend to have a lot of fat in them when they are higher protein and you have to be careful of artery-clogging foods which will raise your LDL cholesterol, which you don t want to happen. So, in the long run, a high protein diet is really not the best thing to do, because it could also bother your kidneys, your pancreas, it s not very healthy for your body.
