Host: What is the potty without pressure method?

Rene Hackney: The potty without pressure method is what s put forth by the American Academy of Pediatrics and what is suggested with this method is that you really look for signs of readiness. The parent s job is to look for the signs of readiness and gives lots of opportunity for this child to be able to have success. The idea is that the child really needs to have ownership, they need to feel like it's their idea to be going potty and buy into the process with the parents. So, it s a mutual relationship rather then a parent led.
