Host: Are there advantages to potty training in day care centers?

Rene Hackney: It s really nice to have children who are in day care centers, who are in pre-schools for the potty training process, because often they have lots of other kids around who are in the same boat; they are all potty training at the same time. So, the benefit is that teachers can take them all at the same time, they get to observe each other, which really helps children learn how to potty train and they go at very regular times, they often tend to go as soon as they will come in and then before lunch and so kids get dependent, they just try because they are supposed to try it.
