My name is Diana Flesner and I currently live in Washington D.

C. I have been playing cello for about 25 years and teaching for 12 of those years. I am currently a doctor of Musical Arts candidate at the University of Illinois, received my Masters from San Francisco conservatory and my Bachelors from Middlebury College in Vermont. I am currently teaching at the International School of Music in Bethesda, Maryland and Harmonia School in Oakton, Virginia. Today, we ll cover a number of topics ranging from sitting with the cello, left hand pizzicato, bow and a number of other things that will help you get started with the instrument.
