Jean Shea: Hi, my name is Jean Shea with Shea Studio Interiors and I am showing you how to create a beautiful holiday home and one of the components is place cards and we are going to learn how to do that now. You are going to start out with some card stock, you can tailor the colors to your theme, this is Christmas, so we are using green, beige, you could use red. I have got some scissors that have an interesting little design on the edge, I have a little hole punch, a gold pen, scissors, a straight edge and some little decals put on there. So, pick a color and it can be any size also, I am going to just score this a little bit so it makes it easier and cleaner to fold to score that and then you fold it over, you are going to have a little fold over like this. You take your scissors and you just snip the edge, this is a great project to do with your kids too because they it s very easy, it s very crafty. So, you now you have your little place card. You can take your hole punch and you can put little hole punch there, you can put multiples, I am going to give it three on the corner here. So, what you end up with is, something like this.

I am going to write the name on it first, this is a gold pen, we have to shake them up really good before you use them and sometimes you even need to make sure that the ink is flowing before you use it. I am just going to write my name and attach a star and if you want it you could even do multiple stars and that you have a beautiful little place card, that did not take it very long to make and next we are going to show you how to decorate a Reef.
