June Shea: Hi I am June Shea with Shea Studio Interiors and we are showing you how to create a beautiful holiday home. One of the components is to create a beautiful entry. We are going to start by accenting the perimeter of entry way with greens and we are going to start out with white pine roping and we are going to be using our ladder and it is a good thing to always be safe with your ladder. You want to be make sure that your hinges are secured and that any small children are not allowed to play on the ladder.
You may actually if you are if you have high entry, you may want to have somebody support the ladder while you are up on it. Now, I already have nails in the header up here because we do this every year, but all you need is a little paneling tack and you can just leave it in there, I do not ever take them out. You are going to try to find your midpoint of your roping and just set it on the nails and it is okay if some of it drapes down a little bit.
You have your roping up, now it is time to put your lights up. Always a good idea to make sure your lights work. So, I always plug them in and try to spread them out before I discover that they are no longer operational and you just take your lights and you want to try to secure them so they stays. So you are probably going to have to wind them in and out. If you want you can add some decorations up at the front. That is all there is to it. Now, you have a beautifully decorated entry way to welcome your company.
