Host: What safety guidelines should parents considers before buying toys?

Rene Hackney: The first safety guideline to consider when looking at toys is how sturdy something is made, that the parts are on well. Another thing to look for is the choking hazards, there is a choking tube, that s you can buy through companies like One Step Ahead , but just a normal toilet paper roll. If parents use that toilet paper roll to see if the toy will fit in, if it does it is considered to choking hazard. So, looking for toys that are larger, than that for children under three, also looking to be sure that the weight of the toy and the requirements of the toy are something that the child can manage at their age and at their size.
