Denise Willard: Hi I am Denise Willard with Decor by Denise and today I am showing you how to decorate your tree for the holidays. Right now, we are going to focus on the bottom portion of the tree or under the tree. So, we can make it shine like the rest of the tree does. So, let us get started.

First thing we need is a beautiful tree skirt which I picked one where the color coordinates with the rest of the tree s color scheme. You want to do the same for your tree. We want to make sure that we get one that is large enough and we want to just place it under the tree as such to get under here with comfortable shoes or no shoes. So, you can get back here and do what you need to do, just wrap it around the base. Make sure it covers the tree stand sufficiently.

So, now we have gotten in place and now we are going to do is add some decorations under the tree. Typically most people put up their tree and then they have to go out shopping. So, it is going to take some time before you are able to put things under your tree. So, in the meantime we are going to decorate it so, still it looks pretty regardless of how long it takes you to get your gift. So, let us start with point saddles and some few boxes we have here, I would wrap them, you would really do not need to. But certainly we are going to place them in here, just to give some height and then what we are going to do is take this little guys, I have four of them here and we are going to place them back here as such. So, make sure it is symmetric as much as possible. Then what we are going to do is add in some additional point saddles just to get a little extra own to cover up the base of these guys.

So, basically you got a nice spread here and then in the front we are going to put our packages and I have already got some packages pre-made that are wrapped etcetera, they do not have to be too ornate, just really what you want them to be and we just want to place them in here such this guy like that, this guy like this. This tree is not that hot on itself, we have to get a little creative and then in this side we will place like such. As you can see as we started to build out this area underneath the tree we found that this box is just really too large and did not quite fit it. Actually made it look too tacky and cluttered and that is really not the look we are going for. What we ultimately want to end up with is a tree underneath that looks really, really pretty and add to be all to overall decor of the tree. So what we have ended up with here is some point saddles that we pulled towards the front and grouped accordingly just filling the space appropriately and then we put in some boxes here, some pretty gift boxes to really finish it up.

So, that is how you go about creating a nice beautiful decorative item underneath your tree.
