Host: Are there general guidelines for year-end holiday gift giving?

Nancy Mitchell: There are, there are certain things you want to avoid when you are selecting a year-end holiday gift. You do not want something to be too expensive, you do not something to be too intimate, you do not want something to send the wrong message and you also do not want something that does not reflect your relationship with someone. You want to show that you know the person and that you are appropriate in the selection of a gift, do not push your relationship, do not try to show off, do not try to impress somebody, give from the heart, be sincere and try to find a very good match between you, the person, the gift and your budget.
