Host: How can you appear more approachable?
Gloria MacDonald: It is important to look appear approachable to men and men are looking for certain behavioral characteristics and one of those is sexual availability. Now, having said that, men are also looking for a woman who is going to be faithful and not promiscuous, so, you need to feel sexy yourself. If you do not feel a little bit sexy yourself, if you do not feel a little spunky something, how is the man going to feel that from you. So, there are a lot of different things you can do to give off signals that you are available. Now, we are not saying you should be draping yourself all over a man when you meet him the first time. That would not be attractive to a man either because do not forget, if they are looking for a mate, they are looking for someone who will be faithful and not promiscuous.
But, things like eye contact, smiling, tilting your head to one side. We have got a whole section on flirting and we will talk about one of those things in flirting, but you have to know how to flirt and you have to feel good about yourself. You have to feel like you want a relationship and that you have got something to offer. So, all those things are really important. So, think about what you do and how you are feeling inside. Are you feeling good about yourself? If so, you will send off those signals and you will be approachable and available.
