Host: How can a man look and act confident, successful, intelligent and interesting?

Gloria MacDonald: You know it s really important for a man to look and act intelligent, interesting, successful and confident. Now, a woman marries a man for his money and his status. The status they may sound it s really psychologically proven that that s a fact, but a woman does not want a man to tell her that he is worth so much money and he drives this car and he spends this amount of money on this and that he buys this and this and that. That s bragging, that s boastful, it s of obnoxious. So, a man can look and act confident frankly, partly in the way he dresses. Now, if it s a Saturday and you are meeting at a Starbucks, obviously you are not going to be wearing a navy blue suite, white shirt and red tie, but sweatshirt and blue jeans are not going to do it either. You can wear jeans as long as they are nice jeans, but get rid of the sweats and the T-shirts because again, you have to present yourself as the very best who you can be. You have to present yourself as intelligent articulate successful, casual, but intelligent articulate and successful. So, you know you can t tell the woman how successful you are, but you need to act and look confident. So, part of that is the way you carry yourself. If you are all slumped over, that s not a look of confidence. So, sitting up straight, being attentive and frankly, for everyone it s far more important to be interested than interesting. So, if you are genuinely interested in the woman and what she does and what s important to her that will go so much further than you trying really hard to be interesting by telling her all the things you know and all the things you do. So, again don t tell the woman how successful you are, but present yourself from what you wear, how you carry yourself and being intelligent and articulate. Let those things just come through naturally and that will impress the woman.
