Nancy Griffin: Hello, my name is Nancy Griffin. I work in the Bridal Industry in Washington DC area. I own a store in Arlington, Virginia called Lady Hamilton. We're located in the Clarendon area here in Arlington. We're a full service bridal salon that sells higher-end bridal gowns. Today, I'm going to show you how to select the perfect wedding gown from the day you start looking until the day you make your final selection. So, you're engaged, great. Now, we're going to start by doing your homework. There is a ton of information out there for bridal gowns and there are many, many, many gowns to choose from. So, it can be quite overwhelming. So, we recommend doing your homework. The first place to start looking which is probably the easiest is online. There are sites dedicated just for wedding gowns. We recommend pulling out some dresses that you like, looking at some photographs, making copies of them or making notes on them. There are also many magazines dedicated just to bridal gowns, read out the pages or make some notes about different things you like about different dresses and even call local salons and ask them what they have, what styles are popular to kind of just get your information ready before you start going out to look for the individual gown.
