Nancy Griffin: Hi, my name is Nancy Griffin and I'm the owner of Lady Hamilton, bridal salon here in the Washington DC area located in Arlington, Virginia. Today, we're discussing how to select the perfect wedding gown. This step is our budget. A very important step because money can be a big factor in a wedding. It can cost you a lot of money to get married or a very little amount of money to get married. So, before you even walk into trying to dress, you need to decide how much money you're going to spend on a wedding gown. Wedding gowns range in prices from $50, $99 all the way up to thousands and thousands. So, once you've decided how much you're planning on spending on your gown, then you can begin looking in individual salons. Now, there are a lot of things that go into the price, not only just the price of the gown but also all the accessories that are needed for the gown, your jewelry, your head piece, your veil, shoes and don t forget alterations. Alterations are a necessary expense, they will make you dress perfect and they're never included in the price of your gown.
