Host: What are gift guidelines for wedding showers?
Nancy Mitchell: General guidelines are to follow the lead of the host and to the hostess who is putting on the shower and take in to your account your relationship to the bride or if it's a couple shower to the couple.
I think it's very helpful when a host or hostess for a shower will have a seen sometimes it's a round the clock sometimes it's personal up parallel for the bride, sometimes it's a kitchen shower go with it whatever the theme is and spent within your means.
Also you did not want to be only person who attend the wedding shower and a presence a gift with a $150. Think often about in your whole process if gifts giving think about perceived value as well as the actual cost of the gift.
You want to be appropriate in its perceived value as well as in its price tag so, go with your guideline for the event, is it one of the steam shower and then go with your relation ship with the honoree.
