Host: When is the best time to give a Wedding gift?

Nancy Mitchell: You may send or deliver a wedding gift as soon as you receive a wedding invitation. You want to avoid taking a Wedding gift with you to the Wedding ceremony or the reception because it present the burden to either the Wedding planner or the family or one of the bridal attendants to have to keep an eye on gifts and to transport them back.

So, as soon as you receive the invitation you may send it to the brides address or you may sends it to the brides family, if you are close to the groom and his family send it to one of them.

If you are having a shift from a department store or through a bridal registry or through a catalog have it again send to the bride s address or to her family s address and then you will be able to track it.

The very nicest thing to do is to take one in person if you can visit ahead of time and present it in that fashion.
