Host: What are some family rituals that involve drinking?

Judith W. Cousins: A family ritual that involves drinking for instance, might be a holiday, for example, when the Jew celebrate Seder they have wine as part of that meal. For some families, Christmas might be an occasion where they might have a glass of wine or the children in the family might be allowed to have something to drink. Dinner is often a ritual in a sense or where people would have a glass of wine or a glass of beer, you know family get-togethers, parties, Super bowl parties, they are not rituals always in a formal sense, but they are family traditions.
