Host: How can counseling help a person quit drinking?

Judith W.

Cousin: Counseling can help a person quit drinking, because in counseling there are other people who are helping that individual even on a one-to-one basis or on a group basis. Those people who are helping have an understanding of what it takes to quit drinking. They are also available to challenge that individual, when they have ideas which are going to put him in a risk and that therapist or that group can also help them by supporting them in most difficult time.
